Click View > Reading View to see if you shrank the text enough. As you click Shrink Font, Word decreases the size of every font in your document. Click Home > Shrink Font one or more times. Press Ctrl+A to select all the text in your document. Click OK to save your changes and close the Word Options dialog box. Click Edit Document > Edit in Word for the web if you haven’t done so already. For example, if you are copying and pasting text from another program such as a web browser, change the Pasting from other programs option. In the Cut, copy, and paste section, select Keep Text Only for any of the first four “Pasting” options. The Advanced screen on the Word Options dialog box displays. To change this default, and paste plain text without formatting automatically when using Ctrl + V, click Paste in the Clipboard section of the Home tab and select Set Default Paste. If you want to use Ctrl + V to paste text, the text will be pasted with the formatting by default. To manually paste text without formatting, you can click Paste in the Clipboard section of the Home tab and select the Keep Text Only option.

We will show you how to change the paste settings so anything pasted into Word will only be pasted as plain text.
